Rhoda Mary Morgan passed peacefully on October 29, 2024, her sisters close by. Rhoda leaves her sisters Jean and Janice, niece Jenny (Luigi), great niece Jessie, nephew Michael in addition to other relatives. She has gone to join her beloved husband Len, her dad and mum, her kitties and all her loved ones who have passed. She fought a gallant fight with her multiple health issues never giving up and facing each new challenge with determination and resilience, she was an example to each of us as she kept her sense of humour and beautiful smiles. She was incredibly kind and had a sense of humour and quick wit like her dad and an amazing sense of generosity to her fellow man. Rhoda loved all animals especially cats, dogs and horses. She and Len would buy sacks of sunflower seeds for the Canada geese when the snow fell feeding the birds in the open fields. Rhoda had an impressive career at UBC and was the family whiz on computers. Her home, car and garden were her pride and joy. Rhoda was a wonderful cook and a very talented seamstress. She touched the hearts of all her friends, as she was such a special positive giving person.
Rhoda emigrated from England in 1951, grew up in Victoria, moving to Vancouver as an adult and on to Chilliwack returning to the Island two years ago. She travelled to the USA extensively, which included 20 plus trips to Hawaii. Those memories were her joy in her latter years.
A special thanks to all the staff of Acacia Ty Mawr who brought much joy into her life and were always there for her. And a special thanks to her cousin Wendy and dear friend Linde who were there in difficult times.
We will hold your memories close to our hearts Rhoda until we meet again.❤️ Ditto little sister, you know what that means!
