Lois Boudreau was born in Montreal in 1924. She had two brother Walter Boudreau and William Boudreau, since passed. She often spoke fondly of her second world war service, at a young age, with The Royal Canadian Legion performing for the troops awaiting deployment. In 1946 Lois married Bernard Hamilton Jean (Bernie) and raised a family of six children in Regina and Montreal. They were avid travellers and square dancers. After the passing of Bernie, Lois moved to Victoria and then to Duncan to be closer to her children. She resided at Wedgewood House.
Lois has joined her husband Bernie and her son Michael. She is survived by her children Lawrence, Suzanne, Mary Ann, Paul, and Renee. She was blessed, with many grandchildren; Danielle, Michelle, Oona, Claire, Liam, Nicole, Emily, Chehalis and Allegra and great grandchildren; Asia-Marie, Lucas, Tegan, Jack, Georgia, Carter, Bowen, and Casey.
Lois laughed, danced, and sang her way through a rich life of 99 years of adventures as an inspiration to us all! She played the ukulele, sang with the Freedom Gospel Choir, and hit the dance floor with style at any opportunity. She will be dearly missed. The family will hold a celebration of life in the spring.
