Predeceased by mother Winnifred Meers (Gowanlock), father Lawrence Silvaggio, sisters, Wendy Botherston, Helen Silvaggio, Carmen Silvaggio, and brother Roger Silvaggio. Survived by children Jessop Torrie (Kathryn McKenzie), Lacey Harris (DJ Harris), grandchildren, Emma Torrie, Hannah Torrie, Easton Harris, Wylder Harris, Dylan Harris and Hayley Harris, sister Louise Novis, brothers, Michael Silvaggio and Allen Silvaggio, along with countless nieces and nephews.
Heather was a woman who was loved by all who knew her. She touched the hearts and lives of so many people in her 67 short years.
Diagnosed with cancer in May of 2023, she chose to forego any form of chemotherapy or radiation. She strongly believed that she would die of natural causes and that she would not die with a label. So although we know she had cancer, our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed of natural causes with her children at her bedside, holding each of her hands.
A special thanks to her niece Hailey Olsen for the remarkable care she provided in her final days.
