He was born in Duluth, MN in 1938 to Thomas Clifford, Sr. and Carrie Havron. Thomas retired in 1998 from Bethlehem Steel as a First Mate, Relief Captain. He worked at Glass Block for 10 years before going to Bethlehem Steel. He married Sharon O’Neill in 1959 and celebrated 54 years together.
Thomas enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, moving dirt with “Baby”, and making scrubby holders.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister Marilyn.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; son, Brad (Marlene); daughters, Beth (Lyle) Weiderhold, Colleen and Tracy Havron; granddaughters, Jenna (Tom) Mackey, Jessica Havron, and Ashley Weiderhold; grandson, Jacob Weiderhold; great-granddaughter, Elyssa Marie Mackey (the apple of his eye). He is also survived by his sister, Debbie Goodreau, brother-in-law, Jerry (Judy) O’Neill and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the wonderful caring Essentia hospice team who took such good care of Tom in his last days. Also, thank you to the Essentia infusion team.
