Lois Elaine Berg

Lois E. (Culp) Berg was born August 25, 1928 in St. Paul, to Roy and Elva Culp. She was a devoted daughter and later daughter-in-law. She graduated from Duluth Central High School in 1946 and then attended D.B.U.

Lois loved and married Albert Berg in 1950 and together they raised four boys in Morgan Park. She was a kind and loving mother.

Lois was employed for many years by the Proctor Credit Union. She loved her church and had a strong faith in God and Jesus. She also loved a good game of bridge with friends and a pontoon boat ride around Island Lake with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; parents; sister, Marjorie Melin; nephew, Michael Melin; mother-in-law, Alfreda Berg; and her grandson, Marcus Berg.

Lois will be fondly remembered by sons, Bob, Rick, Randy and Ken (Karen McMillan); grandchildren, Jillian (Marvin) Nelson, Aaron (Sarah) Berg, Kevin Berg, and Heather Jordan; great-grandchildren, Charlie and Ingrid (born February 21, 2016) Nelson; step-great-grandson, Parker Raymond; also former daughters-in-law, Peggy Berg and Mona Berg; and many good friends whom she cherished.

Visitation: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 in Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N. 56th Ave. W., Duluth and continuing from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service, Wednesday, March 2, in Fond du Lac Community Church, 521 - 131st Ave. W., Duluth.
