She attended St. Benedict School in Cambridge and found great joy singing in the choir. Her family moved to Columbus when Jeanne was a teenager, where she attended and graduated from Holy Rosary High School.
She began working for a physician at an early age, building both confidence and expertise. Years later, she went on to become a consultant for dentists and doctors, helping them build their practices and their futures. Additionally, she opened an interior design business to further support the expansion of medical offices for her clients.
Jeanne attended daily mass and was a longtime member of the choir at Holy Cross Catholic Church. She was devoted to Jesus and his Mother, the Blessed Virgin Mary. She enjoyed traveling the world, but her favorite destination was Medjugorje--a peaceful mountain hamlet in Bosnia-Herzegovina where the Virgin Mary has been appearing since 1981. Jeanne enjoyed religious pilgrimages to this Holy Place annually, in her later years.
She spent her 89+ years bringing souls to love Jesus as she did – always reflecting His unconditional love. She befriended many priests along the way and even influenced at least one young man to become a priest. There is an old Irish belief that any mother who has a son that becomes a priest gets a “Golden Ticket to Heaven.” Her “adopted son”, Fr. Stephen Ondrey, made this come true for her when he was ordained to the priesthood in May, 2021.
Jeanne is survived by her four daughters, Mary (Tom) Szymkowiak, Susan (Bill) Crum, Megan (Chris) Naumovski, and Judy Brown (Randall Lane); four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at St. Brigid of Kildare Church, 7179 Avery Rd, Dublin 43017, from 10AM until 11AM when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Following the mass, family and friends will proceed to Resurrection Cemetery.

Jeane was such a bright light in our world—and she left a positive impact on everyone who knew her. It’s hard to imagine how we will begin to fill this void left in our hearts. But she would want us to celebrate her life, share her stories, and continue to pray and love each other unconditionally.
