Eric William Vincent Cole

Eric William Vincent Cole, 33, of Columbus, Ohio passed away at Dublin Methodist Hospital on January 9, 2023. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 18, 1989 to Kimberley L. and the late Samuel Cole. Eric attended Worthington Kilbourne High School and has worked in the restaurant industry since he was a teenager and loved to cook.

He was an avid Cincinnati Bengals and Ohio State Buckeye fan..….there was not a sport he could not banter about. Eric was an avid animal lover and especially loved cats. Eric knew no strangers and was welcoming to all and made his friends part of his family. “No one is actually dead until the ripple they cause in the world die away.”

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Eric is survived by his mother Kimberley Cole of Powell, Ohio; daughter Allie Cole; son Bryson Cole and sister Lindsay (Kelly) Gillis of Dublin, Ohio. He is also survived by his 3 nieces Olivia, Gracie and Maci as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Eric was preceded in death by his father Samuel Cole; grandfather William W. Lodge; grandmother Jenore K. Lodge; grandfather Vence Coles; grandmother Mary F. Coles and aunt Gweneth A. (Lodge) Toney.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 17, 2023 from 10am to 1pm at SCHOEDINGER DUBLIN; 5980 Perimeter Drive Dublin, Ohio 43017. Burial will immediately follow visitation at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden; 5600 East Broad Street Columbus, Ohio 43213.
