Rod Sturdivant

Mr. Rod Sturdivant, age 49, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Friday, December 15th, 2017. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 26th, 1968. He was a sports enthusiast and an avid fan of Dallas Cowboys and the University of Michigan. He loved spending time with his children and his family, enjoyed to barbecue, playing golf and listening to old school music.

Mr. Sturdivant preceded in death his father, George Sturdivant; and his brother, Wayne Sturdivant.

Rod leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Aundrea Sturdivant; his sons, Travis Totty, Dorian Holder, Antoine Sturdivant (Aziza) and Joshua Sturdivant; his mother, Robbie J. Sturdivant; his brothers and sisters, Diane Lewis (Oscar), Angelia Burrell, Darryl Sturdivant, Rhonda Sturdivant, Barry Sturdivant, Katrina Daniels (Derrick), Gregory Sturdivant (Candace), Valarie Sturdivant, four granddaughters, Amaria Sturdivant, Madison Sturdivant, Karter Sturdivant and Aubrey Sturdivant, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and devoted friends that will miss him dearly.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 22nd, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 at Faith Christian Center, 3059 S. Cobb Drive, Smyrna, Georgia 30080.
