Robert D. Honea

Mr. Robert Daniel Honea, age 78, of Sevierville, Tennessee, formerly of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017. He was born April 21, 1939 in Rome, Georgia. Mr. Honea was a Veteran serving his country in the United States Air Force. He retired from Lockheed after working 36 years. His passion was cars, building street rods and entering car competitions. He loved furry animals, especially Genie Marie. Mr. Honea was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Camp Honea; his son, Robert David Honea; and his parents, Robert and Sarah Bradshaw Honea. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Evelyn) Honea and Jerry Honea; his daughters, Beth Hall and Judy (Stephen) Franklin; sister, Brenda Gail Williams; grandchildren, Monica, Asa, Morgan, Kirsten, Kacie, Chris, Sarah, Ashley, Katelyn and Madison; 12 great-grandchildren; and three wonderful nieces. A graveside service is planned for Monday, November 13, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Douglasville, Georgia.
