Renee Hudson

Mrs. Renee Hudson of Douglasville, GA., passed away November 4, 2014. Renee was the daughter of Harold Lee Hammond and Sara H. Walton. Renee, enjoyed participating in arts and crafts, especially sewing and painting. She enjoyed yard sales and antiquing, loved going to the beach, reality T.V. and photography. Renee was a “Country Cookin’ Woman”.

Renee is preceded in death by both parents, as well as her husband, Oliver Van Hudson and brother, Buddy Hammond.

Renee is survived by a son, Kelly Van Hudson; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Hudson and Corey Eaton; two brothers, Ray Hammond and Stephen Hammond; sister, Annette Hammond, two grandchildren, Harley Van and wife Sara Hamilton and McKenzie Belle Nash as well as one great- grandchild, James Brayden Hamilton.

The family will receive friends at Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Friday evening November 7, 2014 from 5 o’clock P.M. to 8 o’clock P.M. The funeral service will be held on Saturday November 8, 2014 at 2 o’clock P.M. from the Chapel of Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery.
