Randall was a Deacon at Clearview Baptist Church for 20 years. With his good sense of humor, he always had a way of cracking a joke to make you smile or laugh. In his spare time, you could find him fishing anywhere he could get a boat in the water. He was an avid vegetable gardener and fan of the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Dawgs. Randall was a beloved member of the Douglasville community, selling his vegetables, preserves, and canned fruits. He owned Hurst Farms for many years and made a name for himself through his hard work and dedication to his craft.
Randall is preceded in death by his parents, Kermit and Fannie Hurst; brother, Ken Hurst; and brother in law, Paul Crofts.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 63 years, Patsy Hurst; daughters, Tammy (Billy) Hackett and Vickie (Tony) Dumas; sister, Deborah Crofts; 3 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, January 22, 2024 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Rosehaven Chapel at 2:00 pm with Brother Donny Chandler officiating. He will be laid to rest at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs.
