Paisley Renee Courson, age 3, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023. She was born August 28, 2019 in Austell, Georgia. Paisley was God’s miracle. She touched so many lives in her short three years, more than most could in a long lifetime. Paisley was a sassy girl—it was her way or the highway, and never a dull moment. Even though she was super tiny, she had the biggest personality. Her smile could make the worst day better and it would light up a whole room.
Paisley loved baseball and would get so angry if it wasn’t on TV. She loved her Winnie the Pooh, and especially her Tigger. She always had her Tigger stuffed animal with her. Paisley had no idea, but she helped so many in the world. She taught us strength, courage, faith, hope and love. Mama and Daddy—we love you and so does your whole family. “For with God nothing will be impossible” Luke 1:37
Paisley is survived by her parents, William and Melissa (Mooney) Courson; her brother, Christopher Edwards; paternal grandparents, Bill and Wendy Courson; maternal grandparents, Ron and Tina Mooney; and aunts and uncles, Becky and Matt Mozley, Brian and Holly Mooney, and Josh and Emily Mooney.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, May 22, 2023 from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Pastor Derek Berry officiating. The family requests that those in attendance wear Paisley’s favorite color of purple or other bright colors in honor of her bright personality.

Paisley will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at Rosehaven Memorial Park.
