Marvin Donald Lewallen

Mr. Marvin D. Lewallen, age 80, of Douglasville, GA passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019. He was born March 26, 1939 in Banks County, GA. Mr. Lewallen is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nora Lewallen; two of his children, Brenda Satterfield and David Lewallen; and is preceded in death by his son, Steve Lewallen. He is also survived by his 5 granddaughters and 8 great-grandchildren; his siblings, Lamar Lewallen and sister Geraldine Williams; and preceded in death by his brothers, Gene Lewallen and Dewey Lewallen.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for visitation on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 3:00 pm in the Rosehaven Chapel followed by the graveside service at 4:00 pm. Pastor Don Johnson will be officiating. Serving in the funeral as pallbearers will be: Willard Bowen, Larry Lewallen, Ashely Parson, Ricky Lewallen, Randy Lewallen, and James Clonts.
