Marjorie Dianne Newman

Marjorie Dianne Newman was born March 23, 1946 to Herschel Jasper Newman, Sr and Ruby Waldrop Newman in the Beulah Community of Douglas County, GA. She passed away at her home in Milton after an extended illness. She was the ninth of twelve children, six boys and six girls. She is preceded in death by her parents listed above as well as siblings Denise Newman McKown, H.J.Newman Jr., Cecil Newman, Robert H. Newman, Sr, Jim Newman and June Newman Wallace.

Surviving siblings include Bill Newman (Beulah), Carol Newman (Roswell), Lewis Newman ( Joanne, Vinings), Alice Newman (Dacula), Marie Newman Cowart (John, Dahlonega). Dianne was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews as well as their children.

Dianne graduated from Douglas County High School in 1964. She was voted Wittiest Girl as a Senior in her class superlatives. She was always outgoing and loved by everyone.

She was a career woman working in Information Technology at the Georgia Institute of Technology for more than 30 years. She was also a world traveler making trips to Australia, New Zealand, China and most of Europe. She travelled extensively within the United States as well. She loved meeting new people and hearing their story.

Dianne’s many friends and large family can tell you what a fun loving person she always was. She will be greatly missed.
