Linda Jean Smith

Mrs. Linda Jean Smith, age 68, of Douglasville, Ga, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019. She was born on January 21, 1951 in Gainesville, Ga. Mrs. Smith loved her family; her children and grandchildren. She was a member of Bible Church of God for 14 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wiley and Eula Mae; her first husband, Loyd Smith; her son, Tim Thomason; and her siblings, Junior, Delores, Doris, Betty Jo, and Sandra.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 14 years, Timothy Weed; her children, George Thomason (Annette), Scarlett Mitchell (Ricky), Angela Massengale (Jerry), Nathan Thomason (Tiffany), Deborah Tucker (Robert), Debbie Orr (Jim), Paul Haynes, Anthony Smith (Melissa), and Timmy Joe Weed; her brothers, Albert Evans (Terri) and Curtis Haynes (Paulette); 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous other loved ones, family, and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. There will be a funeral service held in the Rosehaven Chapel on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 1:00 pm officiated by Reverend M.T. Crawford. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Douglasville, Ga.
