Katherine Lynn Crowe

Katherine Lynn Crowe of Douglasville, Georgia passed away on July 16th at the age of 67. She was born on April 2, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio. She grew up as a military child in places most people just dream of including Spain and Japan. She returned to the states and became the daughter of an airline pilot where she continued her travels

She worked for Motorola Cellular Installation in the 80’s and 90s before becoming an owner/operator of Digital Communications Systems and then becoming the Owner and CEO of Teknow Battery LLC in 2008 where she continued to travel the world for both work and pleasure.

She was actively involved in rafting, kayaking, arts and crafts and teaching painting.

She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas O’Bryon, and brother, Donald O’Bryon.

She is survived by her mother, LaDonna O’Bryon; brother, Wade O’Bryon; sister, Kathleen O’Bryon; husband, Gary Crowe; daughter, Danielle Minnick and son in law Steve Minnick; mother in law, Grace Crowe; brother in law, Keith Crowe and sister in law Amanda Crowe; bonus children, Jason and Emily Hoffman; grandchildren, Lexington and Rebecca Hoffman, Katherine Cheryl Hoffman, Myckel Richmond, Steve Minnick Jr and Jordyn Minnick; great granddaughters, Luna Grace Richmond, Willow Isabel Richmond and Aria Brooke Hoffman; bonus grandchildren, Hunter, Lacey and Xander McDaniel; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life at Whitley Garner Funeral Home in Douglasville on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at 1:30 PM. Reception to follow at the Crowe's residence in Douglasville.
