Karen B. Knight

The family of Karen Baldwin Knight of Douglasville, GA, formerly of Albany, GA, announces her passing Thursday, November 6, 2014 following a nearly three year battle with neuroendocrine cancer. She was born January 3, 1967 in Bainbridge, GA. She was married for 27 years to Art Knight, formerly of Albany, GA, and the couple have three children — Geoffrey 22, Grayson 17, and Katherine 16.

A 1985 graduate of Riverview Academy, Karen received her AA from Darton College and her BS from Mercer University. After working for 14 years in the banking industry, she became an independent financial advisor in 2001 and most recently worked as Vice President of Cornerstone Private Client Group in Suwanee, GA.

In addition to her immediate family, Karen is survived by her parents, Don and Emily Baldwin of Albany, GA; her sister, Amy Baldwin of St. Georges, Grenada; and in-laws, Sybil and Wilbur Oglesby of Tifton, GA.
