Georgianna Burgess Conner, age 81, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2023. Georgianna was born in Charlotte, North Carolina on November 7, 1941, the daughter of the late Lt. Col. Edward Thomas Gavin Jr. and Helen Theresa Federal. As a girl, she traveled the world as her father served with the U. S. Army in Germany and Japan following World War II. Following high school, she attended the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia. She lived in Georgia as a homemaker and raised three sons.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her youngest son, Stephen Mathis Conner; her brother, Edward Thomas Gavin III; and her former husband, Ronald Mathis Conner.
She is survived by her sons, Lee (Jenny) Conner and Glenn (Denise Nebriaga) Conner; her granddaughters, Allie Conner and Robin Conner; and her siblings, Dolores Wilson and Lennox Gavin.
