Delores Sue Wood

Delores Sue (Harrington) Wood, age 63, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday, January 5 2024. She was born September 20, 1960 in Atlanta, Georgia. Delores loved her children and her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved music and enjoyed camping.

Preceding her in death were her son, Paul Vaughn; and mother and father, Shirley and James “Jimbo” Jones.

Those left to cherish her memory are her fiancé, Scott Slay; children, Regina Kellett (Raymond), Jeffery Wood, and Scotty Slay; daughter-in-law, Ashley Vaughn; grandchildren, Autumn Grace Vaughn, Clayton Paul Vaughn, Wesley Tennis, Peyton Kellett, Harley Slay and Gabriel Slay; brother, Phillip Harrington (Donna); sisters, Diane Anthony (Dave), Denise Harding and Doris Hucks (Bubba); mother-in-law, Linda Williams, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 5:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Reverend Ricky Caldwell officiating. Following the service, Delores will be cremated.
