Cecil Clegg married my husband and I. We loved Cecil and Ann, still do! He was such a warm and friendly man. It is such a terrible loss not only to his beloved family but to everyone that knew Cecil! We are praying for Ann and their family at this difficult though amazing time. Cecil is now in Heaven what a glorious place to be!!!

Cecil was a good friend of ours at Tom M. Wages Funeral Home while he pastored in Lawrenceville. He, Tom Wages, and I enjoyed time together away from the business just sharing lunch and relaxing talk with friends. He served our community well and Central Baptist with care.  I look back with fond memories of him and thank God that He shared Cecil with us.

I am sending nothing but love, light and prayer to the Clegg family as well celebrate the life, legacy, spiritual journey of Rev. Cecil Clegg.   I am so honored to have met Rev. Clegg and to share in the joy and tremendous love of a family that he and his wife gifted to the world. 

The world has been blessed by the Agape Love that he has manifested throughout is life. I know that the magnificent stature of this man shall be missed, but his spirit and love shall remain forever. 

You have earned your eternal rest in the arms of our Heavenly Father!

We are all so sorry to learn that Cecil has passed away..He will truly be missed by his family and friends.He was interim at Plainfield Baptist Church,Eastman in 2002 and 2003. We were blessed to have him and Ann while we were searching for a new pastor..He was a great man of God and a great teacher/minister.He preached at my husband's funeral in 2003. We really missed them once we found a new pastor and they had to go to another church. May God bless all in his family during this difficult time.Our prayers are with you.

Please accept my deep heartfelt condolences.  I am a member of Poplar Springs North Baptist Church in Dublin Ga.  Bro. Cecil pastored our church as an Interim.  I loved him dearly and so wished we could have had him as our pastor. He was a true Man of God.  I know you will miss him so much.  Ann I think of you often. May God watch over you ,  comfort you ,and give you and your family that peace that passes all understanding.
