Carlton Johnny Harbin

Mr. Harbin was born on August 2, 1939, the son of the late Jefferson Douglas and Willie Nell Dillershaw Harbin. Prior to his retirement, he was employed for over 30 years with Roadway Transportation. He attended the First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs and was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Sandra Charlene Bishop Harbin. He was married in 2000 to the former Charlotte Tate.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte T. Harbin; his children, John Steven Harbin, William Michael "Bubba" Harbin, Carlton Dennis Harbin, Jefferson "Doug" Harbin, and Christopher Cody; daughter, Cindi Cody; brothers, Tommy Harbin and Lamar Harbin; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Harbin will be conducted on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 4 p.m. from the Rosehaven Chapel of Whitley - Garner Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin McCoy officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 2 p.m. until the funeral hour.
