Carlos was born in Mexico City, Mexico on May 24, 1976, the son of the late Jose Luis Gutierrez Lopez and Concepcion Lopez Gutierrez. He was a commercial painter for almost twenty years. He loved the outdoors, working in his yard, watching soap operas and listening to Spanish rock music. Carlos was a family man, enjoyed being in his home, helped raise Lettie’s brothers, Marcos and Juan and was very loved by his family.
He is survived by his wife, Leticia Vasquez-Delgado of eighteen years, sons, Carlos Daniel Gutierrez Ibarra, Luis Alberto Sarabia; daughters, Brianna Linnette Gutierrez, Amahirani Itzelt; daughter-in-law, Berenice Ortuno Gonzalez; grandsons, Liam Santiago Rodriguez Gutierrez, Renato Daniel Gutierrez; brothers, Jose Luis Gutierrez Lopez, Rigoberto Gutierrez Lopez; and sisters, Paula Silva Gutierrez Lopez, Susana Gutierrez Lopez, Rocio Gutierrez Lopez.
The family will receive friends at Whitley Garner at Rosehaven Funeral Home on Monday, February 27, 2023 from 3:00 until 9:00 p.m.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 3:00 p.m. at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Douglasville, Georgia with Father Joseph Shaute officiating.
