Brenda was born in Douglasville, Georgia on March 5, 1939. She learned to play the piano at 2 years old, when her grandfather began teaching her, and continued to play throughout her life. She enjoyed shopping and reading. Brenda was drawn to watching true crime stories and documentaries. She was also a loving and devoted mother and wife.
Rock n’ Roll was her life as far as music goes. She danced with Bruce Springsteen twice; once in 1984 when he randomly selected her from the crowd to come on stage with him and again in 1991 when he, again, pulled her from the crowd. She became known as the “Boss Lady” in the Atlanta rock communities like 96Rock.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Bertha Palmer; twin sister, Linda Palmer, who passed at birth; and brother, Robert J Palmer.
She is survived by her husband, Pete Webb; son, Todd Webb and daughter in law, Karen; grandchild, Sabrina Webb; and sister in law, Rhonda Palmer of San Angelo, TX.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, May 10, 2024 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Following the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Rosehaven Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
