Renee Marie Bartz, age 61 of Dorr, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She is survived by her parents Louis and Carole Bartz; sisters Cathy Lain and LuAnn (John) Stein; four nephews Joshua Lain, Cody Lain, Mitchell Stein, and Colton Lain; one niece, Holly Weick; three great-nephews and five great-nieces.
Renee loved to cook, garden, hunt, and fish, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
A celebration of Renee’s life will take place with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at St. Mary’s Visitation Church (2459 - 146th Ave., Byron Center, MI 49315), with Reverend Christopher J. Derda as celebrant. Visitation with the family will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, November 21, 2022 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Dorr Chapel (4330 - 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323) with prayers of the Rosary beginning at 6 p.m.
