Donna M. Hurst (Bird), age 72, of Cobb Lake, formerly of Dorr, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Faith Hospice Trillium Woods in Byron Center. She was born December 20, 1951 to Ken and Ann (Joppe) Bird, who both preceded her in death. She married James (Gary) Hurst on July 3, 1970, in Wayland, Michigan. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gary Hurst; daughters Moriya Hurst of Martin, and Tawnya Kamble of Middleville; grandson Arien Kamble of Middleville; brothers Steve (Laura) Bird of Dorr and Tim (Michele) Hurst of Lansing; and many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
A memorial visitation will be held from 3 - 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323. Light refreshments will be offered following the visitation.
