Barbara Jean Kerber, age 82, passed away on January 7, 2024. Barbara was a beautiful loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and her big, loving heart. Family was everything to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James Edward Kerber; parents Earl and Myrtle Cole; sisters Sharon Parker, Sally Cole-Saul; and daughter-in-law, Debra Sue Kerber. She is survived by her loving children and family Kim (Pat) Fein, Kathy (Ray) Wiersma, Kay (Mark) Teska, Jeff Kerber; nine grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Cole; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Visitation will be held from 4- 7 p.m. on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Dorr Chapel (4330 18th St., Dorr, MI 49323). A funeral service celebration of Barbara’s life will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 12, 2024 at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Dorr Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Barbara will be laid to rest at Maplewood Cemetery next to James.
