Wesley Tate Caballero

Wesley Tate Caballero was born on February 10, 2023 and passed away peacefully on April 3, 2023. Although with us only seven short weeks, Wesley profoundly touched his parents, grandparents, family, and friends with the joy and love that only a baby can bring. He left his tiny thumbprint on all our hearts forever.

He was loved and adored by his family and will be greatly missed. Our only consolation is that he knows he was perfectly loved from his conception to his passing and is now with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Wesley is survived by his parents, C.J. and Janie Theriot Caballero; grandparents, Dianne Hernandez Theriot, Clint Theriot, Chris and Dawn Caballero; great grandparents, Della A. Hernandez, Shirley and Jesse Theriot, and Jan B. Davis; godparents: Kati Theriot and Charles Caballero, Aunt Caroline and baby cousin, Georgia Caballero as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his great grandparents: Wesley J. "Banana" Hernandez Sr., Everett "Poonie" and Dot Caballero, Billy Davis and great aunt, Diane C. Howard.

Pallbearers will be: Charles Caballero and Casey Cambre. Honorary pallbearers will be: Everett J. Caballero Jr., Jay Theriot, Ray Theriot, and Gregory Theriot.

The family would like to thank the staff at Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital ER, Fr. Matthew Graham, Red Bird Ministries, Monday Night Disciples, Carriers of Hope and Maddie's Footprints.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Red Bird Ministries or Maddie's Footprints.

A visitation will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am conducted by Fr. Matthew Graham and Fr. Matthew Dupre with interment to follow at the Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church Mausoleum.
