He was President of the Louisiana Equine Report until his illness. He enjoyed LSU sports, riding horses, rodeos, researching ancestry and spoiling his only granddaughter, Kynsli. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Tammy Beaman Milazzo; daughter, Kristi Leigh Milazzo; son, Mitchell Gitano Milazzo (Mercedez); four sisters, Dolores Blanchard, Annie Aucoin (Dale), Betty Falcon (Daniel), and Clara Cain Lawrence (Tim); three brothers, Douglas (Sandra), Jimmy (Donna) and Tony Milazzo; granddaughter, Kynsli Rae Dove; and brother-in-laws, Craig and Chad Beaman along with a host of numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Gitano and Aldonia Milazzo; sister, Michelle Milazzo; brother, Philip Milazzo, Sr.; two sister-in-laws, Vivian Milazzo and Karen Milazzo; brother-in-laws, Ronald Blanchard, Sr., Billy Yates and Steve Cain.
The pallbearers will be Jordan Falcon, Brad Spillman, Craig Beaman, Tim Lawrence, Jason Medine and Danny Falcon.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Ernest Gene Thompson and the staff at Cardinal Hospice for their care and compassion.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 for 10:30 am at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville with services to begin at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow at Ascension Cemetery. Father Matt Dupre will be officiating.
