Janet was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She had a passion for taking care of her children and grandchildren. Janet loved watching her grandchildren play sports and never missed an event. She was an avid LSU and Saints fan. Janet was a religion teacher for over thirty years at St. Anthony and Holy Family. She was a member of the Saint Anthony's Ladies Altar Society for a number of years. She always looked forward to Sunday lunches with her siblings. Janet received the Order of Saint Louis the IX Medallion in 2000.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her two daughters, Arlene Anthony and husband, Larry, and Allison Wise; four grandchildren, Heather Stephens, Hope Gaudet, Blaise Wise, and Dane Wise; six great grandchildren, Maegan Stephens, Bella Stephens, Skylar Stephens, Cason Stephens, Rhett Johnson, and Letty Johnson; three siblings, Claire Amedee, Myrna Falgoust, and Raymond Waguespack; one brother-in-law, Terry Folse and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Etienne Zeringue; parents, Clarence Sr. and Annette Waguespack and two siblings, Rev. Clarence Waguespack Jr. and Annette Folse.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Luling from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am conducted by Rev. Stephen Dardis. Interment will be at St. Philip Catholic Church Mausoleum in Vacherie.
