Earline was born on February 2, 1931 to Prudent and Faustine Bourg. She was married to the love of her life, Henry Theriot for sixty seven years. Together they raised their only daughter, Patsy Theriot Domingue.
Earline was a devote Catholic who cherished her faith. She spent many days praying and saying her rosary. She adored her family, especially her great grandkids whom she would do anything for. Earline was a fun, kind hearted, and giving person. She loved to cook and made sure no one left her home hungry. We ate even when we were not hungry just to make her happy.
Many knew Earline by her CB handle the “Dragline Lady”. She would talk to her husband, “Dragline Man” every day at lunch time and every evening when he was on his way home from work. She also made friends and communicated with several others.
Earline loved watching wrestling. In their early years of marriage, they would travel to Houma to watch Mid-South wrestling in person. Earline had ring side seats and Henry was the bell ringer. We all knew we could find her every Monday night sitting on the edge of her chair yelling and cheering for her favorite wrestlers on TV.
Earline leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Patsy Domingue and husband, Adam; two grandchildren, Holly Landry and husband, Mike and Brock Domingue and wife, Darcie; four great grandchildren, Lauren Dubreuil (Kyle), Allen Landry, Jake Landry, and Briley Domingue; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth “Betty” Bourg and one godchild, Barbara Bourg Patrick.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Theriot; parents, Prudent and Faustine Bourg; two brothers, Lloyd “Coon” Bourg (Odette) and Nelson Bourg, and one sister, Mae Rose Bourg.
A visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 9am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Entombment to follow in the church cemetery.
