“Oh Angel of God my Guardian Dear, to whom God’s love commits me here. Ever this day be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide.” Andrew John Frey, “A.J.,” came into this world on Aug. 15, 2000, and was granted his angel wings Friday, May 27, 2011. A.J. was a resident of Belle Rose and attended St. Elizabeth Catholic School. He loved hunting, fishing, and riding his 4-wheeler. A.J. was full of smiles, laughter and kindness, and was loved by all. Survived by his loving parents, Andrew and Peggy T. Frey; big sister and best friend, Samantha M. Frey; brotherly figure, James “Skittles” Neal; maternal grandparents, Loice Kliebert Tregre and John G. Tregre, of St. James; aunts, Kay Bourgeois, MaryEllen Frey Young, Debbie Frey Coffman, Geralyn Frey Klebba and Vivian Frey ; uncles, John Frey and Gerard Frey; and paran, Jake Daigle. Also survived by many other aunts, uncles and cousins. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Yvonne Frey, who were of Donaldsonville. Visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, 134 Houmas St., Donaldsonville, on Monday, May 30, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville at noon. Family and friends are welcome to join the Frey family at the St. Jules Catholic Church Hall in Belle Rose after the burial services.
