She was a graduate of Donaldsonville High School where she played basketball, was a cheerleader and drum majorette. She was a basketball official, an avid bouree player, loved Ascension Catholic and LSU sports, the New Orleans Saints and most recently, Nicholls State Football. She was the owner of The Modern Shoe Store for 47 years. Her family, faith and friends were most cherished. She never met a stranger and was loved by all! Her community was everything to her and she was proud to call Donaldsonville home.
She is survived by her daughters, Jamie Lanoix Robinson and Mary Lynn Lanoix Miglicco (Tommy); sons, Randy Lanoix (Nell) and Earl "Chumpy" Lanoix (Dana); grandchildren, Bryan (Leslie), David (Michelle), Stinson and Payne Lanoix, Travis Miglicco (Kelley), Mindy Miglicco Dornier (Ryan), Joshua (Kass), and Chase Robinson (Dawn); and great-grandchildren, Hudson Caraccioli, Beckett and Phoenix Dornier, Brooks and Riley Lanoix, Tripp, Cooper and Camille Miglicco, Miles, Jordan, Josie and Ford Robinson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Olga and Joseph Shaheen; her loving husband, Earl "Chumbo" Lanoix; brothers, Emile, Nick, Ellis, George, and Raymond Shaheen; sister, Zelpha Shaheen; son-in-law, Lee "Ruger" Robinson; grandson, Ryan Robinson; and great-granddaughter, Amelia "Mia" Miglicco.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 for 8:00 am at Ourso Funeral Home in Donaldsonville with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow for 12:00 pm at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church. Interment to follow in the church mausoleum. Father Matthew Dupre and Father Phil Spano will be officiating.
