Peter Stephen Wolf

Peter Stephen Wolf, born in 1939 in Hackensack, NJ, Peter embarked on an extraordinary journey from a young age. Demonstrating exceptional intellect, he entered the University of Chicago at the tender age of 16. With an insatiable thirst for knowledge, he pursued his studies relentlessly, obtaining his Masters at Hofstra University, his PhD. at SUNY Downstate, where he earned a full scholarship for all schools for his outstanding academic achievements. He went on to become a Research Fellow at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine where he was a recipient of the Mayo Foundation and NIH Fellowships from the Heart and Lung Institute.

While his educational and professional accomplishments were indeed impressive, Peter's true joy in life came from his role as a loving husband to Debra for 51 years, devoted father to Jennifer and Stacy, sons-in-laws, Mitch and Scott, and grandfather to 6 adoring grandchildren: Jake, Lexie, Samantha, Summer, Sasha and Harry.

In celebration of Peter's extraordinary life, a chapel service will be held at 10am on Tuesday June 13, 2023 at 21 East Deer Park Road in Dix Hills, NY. Guests are expected to arrive at 9:30am. Following the chapel service, the graveside service will be held at Beth Moses Cemetery: 1500 Wellwood Avenue; West Babylon, NY.'
