He eventually joined the Orange Cove Fire Department, where he rose to the rank of Fire Chief. His leadership, integrity, and unwavering commitment to his community will leave a lasting legacy.
A man of deep and abiding faith, Bob lived his life guided by his love for God and others. His faith was a source of strength and comfort, not only for him but for those blessed to know him. He exemplified kindness, humility, and generosity, reflecting his values in every aspect of his life.
Above all, Bob was most passionate about his family. He shared a loving, enduring marriage with his wife, Pam, who was the cornerstone of his life. Together, they nurtured a family filled with love and cherished memories. Bob was a devoted father to his children, Graeme, Jennifer, and Myer, and a proud grandfather to Conlan, Scarlett, Robert, Charlotte, and Jack, who brought him immense joy.
Bob will be remembered for his strength, faith, kindness, and boundless love for those around him. He leaves behind a legacy of selflessness, dedication, and a steadfast reminder of what it means to live a life of purpose.
Services:
A visitation will be held at Dopkins Funeral Chapel in Dinuba, California, on Monday, December 16, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Graveside services will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Smith Mountain Cemetery. Reception will take place immediately after the graveside ceremony at First Free Will Baptist Church in Orange Cove, 669 4th St, Orange Cove, CA 93646
