Ruth Eleanor Eldridge

Eldridge, Ruth Eleanor, age 78, passed away on July 3rd in Heart of the Valley Long Term Care Center, Middleton, NS. Ruth was the daughter of the late Clair and Lena (Mitchell) Eldridge, Sandy Cove, Digby County, NS. Except for a short time spent in Moncton, NB Ruth spent her entire life in her beloved Sandy Cove. She loved her Lord and was an active member of Sandy Cove Baptist Church. She enjoyed walks to St. Mary’s Bay and the Bay of Fundy and working in her garden. Besides her parents, Ruth was predeceased by special friend Rose Geraldine Matney. There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service for friends will be held at the Sandy Cove Baptist Church Cemetery at 1pm, Tuesday July 9th. Pastor Noel Facey presiding. Donations in memory can be made to Sandy Cove Baptist Church, Alzheimer’s Society, or charity of your choice. Heartfelt thanks go out to Heart of the Valley Long Term Care givers who were so patient and kind to Ruth during her seven year combined stay at both North Hills and Heart of the Valley Care Centers, Middleton.
