Morley Lester Stanton

Stanton, Morley Lester, Age 87 of Tiddville Digby Co. passed away July 19, 2018 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Digby, he was a son of the late Lester and Marguerite (Merritt) Stanton. Morley lived in the Village of Tiddville on Digby Neck and was a fisherman all his adult life, operating out of the port of Whale Cove, also on Digby Neck, until his retirement in 1988. He enjoyed listening to the boats talking on the marine radio and also watching his beloved Toronto Blue Jays. Surviving are his children Glenn (Deborah), Deborah (Gary) , Brian, Michael (Christine) and Crystal, grandchildren Jamie, Daniel, Keith, Brian Jr., Celine, Tabitha, great-grandchildren Jason, Lily and Keith. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley, son Jamie and grandson Lester, brothers Keith and Earl. Visitation will be 12 noon on Monday, July 23, until the time of the service at 2 pm all from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch St. Digby. (902-245-2525). Rev.
