Gordon Richard Wilson, age 35 of Smiths Cove, NS passed away suddenly March 1, 2024 at his friends home. Born in Shelburne, NS he was the son of Caroline (Kevin) Young and the late Gordon Wilson Sr.
Gordie was in school at NSCC taking the CCA course. He loved to help people especially seniors. He loved his family, friends and community. He enjoyed Anime, video games and DND. He also enjoyed walks, music as well as Japanese culture, art and language. Gordie had a great sense of humor and was quick witted.
He is survived by his mother, Caroline Young; step father, Kevin Young; sister Lorena “Lori” Wilson (Eric Chinn); grandfather, Franklin Strang; special friends, Kaylynn Isles, Laurie Hutchins aka “The Boss”; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Besides his father, Gordie was predeceased by grandparents, Benjamin (Kathleen) Wilson, Marjorie Strang and Gerald (Edna) Young.
