Brent attended Scouts as a youth. He enjoyed Cadets and received many awards for high marksman. Growing up, Brent always had many friends around. His mom and dad loved all of the excitement that came along with all of the extra company. He liked country music, loved sports, played hockey and enjoyed snowboarding, fast cars, motorcycles and watersports. Brent loved to joke and tease, pull pranks and scare people, especially his brother Brandon. Brent saved his cousin (Amber Lewis’) life when she fell in a swimming pool as a small child, he was well known for saving orphaned animals…even a baby rat, Smedly. He made his mom, who disliked mice and such, take care of Smedly while he was away at Cadet Camp. Brent also saved our dog Ginger from her mother who was having a hard time with the birth of her puppies. Ginger and her mother Shelby grew up with the family and were completely in love with Brent and Brandon. Above all, Brent loved his daughter Lakelynn with all his heart.
Just some of the great memories Brent’s mom and dad have is family vacations to Niagara Falls, Wonderland, Marineland and time spent at the cottage with the boys and all their friends. Brent worked side by side with his dad lobster fishing, longlining, scalloping, his dad cherished this time they were able to be together. He also loved trout fishing, especially with Lakelynn. Besides his parents, Brent is survived by his daughter, Lakelynn Dawn Chisholm; twin brother, Brandon Joseph Chisholm and a large extended family.
