Johnson, Leona “Addie” - Age 82 of Jordantown, passed away February 10, 2017 in Digby General Hospital. Born in Digby, Addie was a daughter of the late John Leander and Frances (Lynch) Miller. She was a loving mother with a strong belief in our Lord. She was a mother to all who needed and a proud grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother. Addie is survived by her husband, Harold Johnson; sister, Doris (Wentworth) Stephenson; brother, Edward (Myrtle) Miller; children, Gregory Miller (Donna Brooks), Dartmouth; Jacqueline Smith, Jordantown; Alvena Miller (Alfred), Jordantown; Judy (Thomas) Lucas, Digby; Holly Miller, Jordantown; Regina (Steven) Fletcher, Acaciaville; Jonathan (Tara) Johnson, Weymouth; daughter in-law, Gertrude Miller, Dartmouth; 18 grandkids; 30 great-grandkids; 4 great great-grandkids. Besides her parents, Addie was predeceased by her sons, Myles Miller, Mallory Miller, Jeffrey Miller; brother, Sidney Miller; sisters, Edith Cromwell, Greta Johnson and great great-grandson Zion Francis. Visitation 2-4 and 7-9, Wednesday and Thursday from Jayne’s Funeral Home, 7 Birch Street, Digby (902-245-2525). Funeral Service at 1 pm, Friday February 17th at Acaciaville United Baptist Church, Rev. Roy Bertaux and Pastor Theresa Character to preside.
