Ronald Morris

Beloved husband, father and grandfather died October 10, 2012 at the age of 67. Ronald was born on May 21, 1945 to William and Mary (Simon) Morris. He enjoyed fishing, spending time on his John Deere tractor and riding his moped around DeWitt. Mr. Morris had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to share jokes. He was a very knowledgeable man who loved to share his information. Ron was always willing to help anyone in need. He loved spending time with his family and had a passion for travel. Ron was retired from the State of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Jane; 3 sons, Keith M. (Kristin) Morris, Brian A. (Keri) Morris and Timothy P. (Rebecca) Morris; 6 grandchildren; 1 sister, Mae O. Morris; and 2 brothers, Peter J. Morris and Daniel J. Morris. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, October 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes DeWitt Chapel, 205 E. Washington, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to Sparrow Hospice, 1210 W. Saginaw, Lansing, Michigan 48915, or a hospice of their choice, in memory of Mr. Morris.
