Mark’s life was devoted around his love of nature and capturing his visions through photography. He enjoyed sharing the outdoor experience with friends in many trips to special places, mostly in Michigan and the Great Lakes. Before pursuing his career in photography, Mark worked as a projectionist at the Lansing Mall Theatre until it closed and was a member of the local stage workers union. He was a strongly spiritual person and strove to convey the tranquility of nature in his photographs.
Taken from us too soon, his photographs are his legacy.
Services are being handled by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Dewitt. A celebration of his life will be held Friday, November 1 at 11:00am at the Michigan Wildlife – Bengal Center, 6380 Drumheller Rd., Bath, MI 48808.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Mark’s honor to the Michigan Nature Conservancy or Capital Area Humane Society.
