Karl was one of the few people I knew that could keep me on my toes in a conversation, almost like riding a bull because you really never knew where the conversation could go. It was wonderful to see someone so passionate about seeking the odd and the obscure and I always appreciated that. 

He will be sorely missed.

We are very sorry to learn of Karl's death.  He was a very talented young man and led a full life.  May the love of family, friends, and God comfort you as you remember all the great times you shared with Karl.    Love and prayers, Wayne & Laurena Davis, 

I am saddened to hear that Karl has passed away. I was his third grade teacher and I remember a very smart and very inquisitive boy who even at that young age seemed eager to learn! He along with the family will be in my prayers. May peace be with all of you. Memory eternal.

Man we never had too much time to bond, but Karl did make it a point to hit me up more than a handful of times to say what's up, just to spend some time with me, either to take me to a random party or to have a drink with me on my porch. Even though this would happen only once in a blue moon, he legitimately did it to reach out and remind that we have each other that we can always catch up. Ive been meaning to reach out in the last year or so but covid days definitely put a road block on it. Miss u man, I hope to see u again

I first met Karl as a freshman in my class. He was a bright student. Karl was warm and personable with a great sense of humor. My heart breaks for his family suffering this incredible loss. 

I had the privilege of hiring Karl nearly two years ago and he was a joy to have a conversation with.  He always took the high road.  I was so happy for him when he got into the apprenticeship.  My heart goes out to his family dealing with such a great loss.  He will be sadly missed here at Autodie.

Karl was just like one of my own children for so many years.  He was a funny and creative boy growing up.  We enjoyed him taking part in many of our family activities.  He spent a lot of time with Alana when they were little.  She always enjoyed getting Karl wound up about something.  Never knew if she really got him going or he just pretended to for her.  We will miss you Karl.

To my Friend , ex co worker ,  to a very close friend. Man I was just with you at the end of December it was a short visit that should have been longer. Karl you and I became good close friends as I pushed you to stay at auto die and follow your passions. I still remember you were going to quite because our in your words Shenanigans got me a write up. Hahaha we laugh about it now days and it really is when our friendship blossomed into what it became. Even after leaving auto die we stayed in contact and friends I miss working with you everyday. Hearing what music or sound we were listening to today. We always poked fun at one another and had fun sometimes maybe even took things to far but loved your passion in everything you would do. Was nice to be your friend good sir. Fly high ace …

As a coworker to Karl at Autodie, I enjoyed getting to know him and discussing music.  His musical tastes spanned many genres and eras; you never knew what he would play next.  I was shocked and saddened by his passing.  My condolences to Karl’s family.

Karl left this world way too early.  I was his Supervisor at Autodie for over 2 years and encouraged him to get into the Tool and Die Apprenticeship that he chose.  Karl stepped up to the plate where ever he was needed without question.  I will always remember him for using large, difficult words that sometimes didn't work in the sentence he used them in.  He had a wide genre of music that he listened to at work from Heavy Metal to Celtic and some other types that we still haven't identified.  He definitely walked to a different drum than most but was friendly to many.  May there always be music playing for you Karl.
