Greg loved traveling, old cars, antiques, and cheese. After graduating from Michigan State University in 1987 with a degree in Business Administration, Greg spent 25 years working for the State of Michigan, primarily as an analyst at the Department of Insurance and Financial Services. Described as likable and funny, Greg is fondly remembered by a wide circle of loving family, friends, and co-workers.
Preceding Greg in passing is his mother, Mary Ziegler. Surviving Greg is his father James Johnson and stepmother Lynn Johnson; siblings Janice Johnson and James Johnson, Jr.; and nieces and nephew Christopher (Kris) Christensen, Brandi (Adam) Gruesbeck, Jennifer (Kendall) Mullins, and Marissa Kissee (Dean Gill).
