She was born in St. Charles, Michigan on February 11, 1935 to Pedro and Anna Trujillo. She married John Flores on November 24, 1956. Dolores loved her faith, family, and friends. She was an Instruction Support Specialist at Harry Hill High School in Lansing and worked at Sears for many years. She served her community by volunteering countless hours for the Food Bank and many other organizations. She was a member of the Catholic Community of St. Jude in DeWitt.
Mrs. Flores was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, and her brother Albert Trujillo. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Michael (Susan) Flores, Vince (Veronica) Flores, Jerry Flores, daughter, Roseann (Michael) Bills, and son Ronald (Irma) Flores; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 14 at 11:00 a.m. at the Catholic Community of St. Jude, 801 N. Bridge Street in DeWitt. The family will receive friends from 4-8 on Monday, May 13 with the Rosary being prayed at 7:00 p.m. at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home, 205 E. Washington in DeWitt and one hour prior to mass at church.
