Robert W. Thele

Robert W. Thele 97, of Downers Grove, was born on July 8, 1925 to the late Hermann and late Margetta Thele and passed away January 7, 2023. Robert was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann(nee Geraci) Thele; loving father of Dave Thele, Michael (Pam) Thele, Tony Thele, Jerry(Kim)Thele, Glenn Thele and Steve Thele; devoted grandfather of Chris (Noelle)Thele, Danielle (Deigo) Flores, Brittany Thele, Ashley Thele, Anthony Mossuto, Dennis (Alicia) Mossuto, Ryan Thele, Rachael Thele, Angelina Thele, Brad Thele, Bryan Thele and Justin Thele; dear great grandfather of Milo, Bella, Zoe, Nathan, Dominick, Sophia and Logan.

Robert was a Marine Veteran during WWII, serving as a rifleman.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 9 am until time of service at 11 am at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner St. Des Plaines, IL., 60016. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
