Paul Rohret, age 92, of Des Plaines, and most recently, a resident of Beacon Hill, passed away December 4, 2023. Paul was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Theresa. Paul worked as an electrical engineer at Motorola for 43 years, and served two years in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Paul was a loving father to Wayne (Carol) Rohret and Jean (Christopher) Abbott; proud grandfather of Felicity and Olivia Abbott.
A visitation for Paul will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Zachary Church, 567 W Algonquin Road, Des Plaines, IL 60018. A committal service will occur Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N. River Rd., Des Plaines, IL 60016.
