Charles is survived by his daughter Cherie (Robert) Kielba; granddaughter Nicole; siblings James Battaglia and Thomas (Jeanne) Battaglia; good friend Matthew; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Donald Battaglia and Robert Battaglia; former spouse Helen; sister-in-law Charlene; and good friend Pat.
Charles loved spending time with his family, friends, and his pet dogs. He enjoyed fishing, dancing, music, art, cooking, cars, family vacations, and going to the casino.
Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Charles that will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 from 10 am-12 pm with a service following at 12 pm at Oehler Funeral Home, 2099 Miner Street, Des Plaines, Illinois 60016. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Niles, Illinois.
