A loving Christian man that loved his three children dearly, son, Glenn Skyler White, Jr.; daughters, Terri Daigle Watson and husband Ron of Allen, TX and Nellwyn Kay Carey and husband Brion of Blossburg, PA. Those also left to cherish his memory are his 8 grandchildren and his 9 great grandchildren.
During his 87 years of life on this earth Glenn served in the U. S. Navy during WWII. He later became a Master Mason and served as a deacon of, Northside Baptist Church. Glenn worked at Cities Service Oil Refinery for 33 years while still having time to coach youth baseball for many years in DeQuincy.
Besides the love for his Lord and savior, his family and friends it would be the LSU Tigers that made his eyes light up. This was contagious, the love for the Tigers, he passed it on to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
His service will be Monday, November 30, 2015 at 1:00pm at Northside Baptist Church, DeQuincy, La. Ray Hyatt and Ray Clark, will officiate. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will begin Sunday, November 29, 2015, from 4:00pm until 9:00pm at Hixson-Snider Funeral Home in DeQuincy and will resume at 11:00am until time of service at the church.
