TuyetAnhThi Bui was born in Saigon, Vietnam on October 15, 1951. She was the third oldest in a family with eight children. In 1991, she, her mom, and brothers and sisters were given the opportunity at a life in America. She worked as an assembler at a plastic company; at the same time dealing with a rare life threatening illness. In 2005, she lost her mother but still continued to fight. Most people would describe her as a strong willed, loving, and selfless. She left behind her family and the undying memory of her willingness to live.
