It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Natalie Marie Robel, a beloved daughter, sister, sister-in-law, and friend, who left us far too young. She passed away in Colorado, the place she loved and called home, surrounded by the breathtaking mountains she cherished. Natalie was born to Rick and Lori Robel on 10/9/1989 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was the eldest sibling, setting the bar high for her younger brothers Dan and Joe Robel along with their wives Katrina (Leoni) Robel and Mackenzie (Jones) Robel. Natalie charmed everyone with her kindness, adventurous spirit, and unwavering thoughtfulness. She was raised in Blaine, Minnesota and graduated from Blaine High School. She moved to Colorado in 2008 to attend Colorado State University and received her B.A. in Communications.
Natalie was the glue that bound her family together, always lending an empathetic ear, and showing her love through her actions and kindness. An avid snowboarder, Natalie found her true joy carving through fresh powder on the slopes of Colorado’s majestic peaks. The outdoors were her sanctuary, and she spent countless hours hiking, exploring, and finding beauty in every corner of nature. Her adventurous soul and love for the outdoors inspired everyone who knew her to live life more fully. Beyond her passion for the mountains, Natalie had a heart as vast as the Colorado sky. She had an uncanny ability to make those around her feel seen, loved, and appreciated. Whether it was through small, thoughtful gestures or her warm, genuine smile, she brought light to the lives of everyone she touched.
Natalie will be deeply missed by her many friends and extended family. She is also survived by her Grandfather, John Jaraczeski (96 years old). Her legacy will live on in the countless lives she brightened and the mountains she called home. Rest in peace, Natalie Marie Robel. May you forever find fresh powder, a Billy Strings melody, and sunny skies on the mountains of eternity.
